We all have those moments. The blues, the downs, the mean reds….
Anyway, I have a tip for you to jump out of it when you’re down in it.
If you need an instant pick me up, do something productive. If that sounds awful, force your face into a smile. Then get up, move around and do something on your to-do list. If you don’t have a to-do list, do something good for someone else. I know reading this in a certain mood can sometimes sound over whelming and even annoying but remember it’s a mood. Moods are fleeting.
Maybe even get dressed up and go out on the town.
“You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it.”
“We would accomplish many more things if we did not think of them as impossible.”
“My father used to say that it’s never too late to do anything you wanted to do. And he said, “You never know what you can accomplish until you try.””
“To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.”
Also writing your thoughts, no matter your mood, can help shed light to feelings and actions.
Not in the mood to write? Take a photo.
Find clarity through creative mediums.
See where your emotions go.
And with that, merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and happy holidays!
