Happy Fat Tuesday!

So 2 years ago, I drove down to New Orleans with a bunch of friends and we celebrated Mardi Gras. This year is definitely not quite as adventurous. I remember being so thirsty one morning in NOLA that I woke up, went down to the hotel bar, and asked for some fruit. Wonder why I was so thirsty? 😉 Anyway, in honor of this fabulous holiday, how appropriate that I cut a pineapple this morning?

Next, cut all down the pineapple and into pieces

And last, enjoy at the bar in the kitchen

My Dad actually brought me this pineapple and I was surprised to hear he paid a mere $2.00 for this baby. Pineapple is one of my favorite fruits but it can be pretty pricey at times.
