A Fun PR Conference

What a crazy past week it has been. I was out of town last week for Demand Success, a PR conference, and it was quite amazing. From awesome speakers to eager attendees, the event was a complete success!

Arianna is such an inspiring person. Check out my blog post on her talk, which hardly does her justice. She’s a phenomenal speaker and absolutely hilarious!

The conference had a Mad Men themed party after Elizabeth’s keynote.

Let me tell ya’, PR people know how to throw a party!

In between adding each others Instagram accounts and exchanging business cards, we had a blast learning about the latest trends in the media while also making friends to last along the way.

It was amazing being surrounded by such high-energy, fast-paced people looking to work together to inspire growth in the world. As one Vocus employee described over lunch, “we’re a bunch of type-A’s eating social media,” as we take Vine videos of our delicious meals.

The energy at Demand Success was palpable. I met some amazing new friends, learned a ton, and was thrived on the inspiration. If anyone out there is struggling with their career goals, keep working on it because you will find it.

Even if you’re far from finding your career goals, don’t wish the time away because no one tells you how the journey can be just as fun as the end result. 🙂
