Moods have meaning
Yo! I heard this really cool concept on Alexis Haines’ Recovering from Reality podcast last night that your moods tell you something, you just have to look carefully.
Our moods have meaning.
“The memory has as many moods as the temper, and shifts its scenery like a diorama.”
-George Eliot, Middlemarch
“Mood has to be controlled.
Otherwise, it’s your master.”
-Toba Beta
You have to search without judgment which can be tricky.
Reminder to self – be inquisitive with the ole’ mind.
“One mood can be replaced by another, but it is impossible to leave attunement altogether. However, profound boredom brings us as close to a state of un-attunement as we can come.”
-Lars Fr. H. Svendsen
Here’s to understanding moods aplenty and a happy 2020! 2020 – what a concept indeed.
“If you’re not in
the mood, you can’t do that stuff right.”
― J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye
