Kayaking in NorCal
One day an Eskimo sitting in his kayak got chilly; but when he lit a fire in the craft, it sank, proving that you can’t have your kayak… and heat it too.
Luckily, we didn’t have any cold this weekend in NorCal. 🙂
With hearty appetites for adventure, we met a crew of Bae Area kids to kayak in Mendocino.
A warm smile is the universal language of kindness.
The big question is whether you are going to be able to say a hearty yes to your adventure.

After getting sporty, we grabbed lunch before getting lost finding our Airbnb.
We may have taken a couple wrong turns, but the end result was more than worth it.
I mean look at this view…
All seasons are beautiful for the person who carries happiness within. …[or lives in California]

The next day, we took highway 1 back home to the Bay Area, stopping at various spots along the way. Before packing it out, we got to try my talented chef and friend Derrick’s nutritious treats to make leaving a little less bitter.
(Recipe for these coming soon)
Your speed doesn’t matter. Forward is forward.
We stopped 6 times at different beaches and mystical overlooks along the way, eventually landing in the close to home in Alameda where we walked on water.
Hold on to whatever keeps you warm inside.

Fun fact for my east coast homies: Californians don’t use San Fran or Cali in dialect. They refer it as San Francisco or SF. They also specify regions of the state by direction, so NorCal and SoCal. This state is spectacular in that the mountains and beach exist side by side. The smallest things warm the heart.

Question of my week: How do you find inner happiness without relying on outside vices?
