Writer’s Block is Only a Phase
Just dropping by to say I have a touch of writers block.
Is writer’s block real or is it a made up phenomenon that occurs from other distractions which in fact is a block?
According to Google, Writer’s block is a condition in which an author loses the ability to produce new work, or experiences a creative slowdown. The condition ranges in difficulty from coming up with original ideas to being unable to produce a work for years.
I think it’s kind of like replaying a CD (or more socially relevant, album on Spotify) and losing inspiration from overplaying a song. So what do you do? Find a new album. Switch it up, but of course never forget.
Pattern constructions are helpful for life while incrementally interfering with the creative flow.
I’ll report back once I’m out of my writer’s block.
Blocked or blind?
Till then, I’ll continue exploring like a hawk.
Don’t forget to turn back your clock.
