Tea Time
Are you a tea drinker?
When it comes to liquids, I’m pretty much just a water and alcohol drinker.
This morning, however I was feeling pretty sleepy so I decided to try a little caffeine.

I used black tea that one of my best friends brought back from England, so I made sure to hold out my pinky out in between sips. 😉
Jumping topics a bit, here are two ways to eat comfort foods healthily:

The mac n cheese has whole grain pasta with cauliflower, almond milk, hot sauce, salts and peppers, and of course, cheddar cheese.
No butter. No oil. No white pasta.

I had Tostitos chips with grated cheddar cheese served along side caramelized onions and my veggie mix (spinach, carrots and corn).
Who says your childhood favorites aren’t healthy? 😀
And on a more grownup level, I made a big pot of quinoa and veggies for the week.

The additions were corn, black beans, onion, soy sauce, peanut Thai sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic. I was out of broccoli and other greens so I decided to use arugula and random other lettuce leaves to pump up the health factor.
Have a Thankful Tuesday!
