Squeeze in a Workout
Thank you all for wishing my mom a happy birthday! She said it was the best one yet.
IĀ had to help her celebrate with a cup of Birthday Cake Remix from Coldstone. š
It took a lot of will power not to ask for added cookie dough in the mix. I wish I was kidding.
Thank goodness I like to exercise. Last night, I was feeling lazy from all the rain when I stumbled upon this article in Glamour for a quick ~12 minute workout.
The breakdown- do each exercise for 60 seconds and repeat:
- Squats
- Side lunges
- Tricep push ups
- Plank ups
- Mountain climbers
- Ice skaters
After I finished the combination, I wanted to go for another 10 minutes, so I intermittently did jumping jacks, runs in place, high knees, high kicks, side punches, and literally ran around the house. I call this the ADD workout. Just jump around. If you need a new workout, try it wherever you are.
