Making the News
The craziest thing happened recently.
A couple weeks after my son was born, I took him on a walk, recorded a 7 second TikTok video and ended up in the news for it.
The video has amassed over 3.5 views so far and has inspired all sorts of angry commenters accusing me of everything from lying to being a bad, superficial mother. I landed myself on the bullying side of Tik Tok to say the least and I’ve kind of run with it, branding the “boujee baby.”
Little do these commenters know, I’m one of the least materialistic gals out there. I moved to California several years ago with 2 suitcases and I’ve always been a Target/discount shopper.
Clearly my son will one day be famous since this is technically his “point of view” video. 😉
Any who, I’d always heard of cyber bullying, but had never been the recipient of it, so my advice for everyone is to go out of your way to comment something nice today. You never know what the receiver is going through whether it be postpartum struggles, anxiety, etc.
So if you need me, I’ll be wrecking havoc over on my newly favorited social platform.
