Authentic Alignment
A few weeks ago, I took a class called “Find your stride.” Little did I know it’d be the last in-person group session I’d partake in for several weeks/months. (Hope everyone is staying safe both physically and mentally. Feel free to message me if you want to talk!)
But yeah, just like it sounds, the class was about life hacking your way to figuring out the path to naturally, be your best self.
We learned about using the breath to gain clarity.
Breathe in 4 seconds. Breathe out 4 seconds.
And working to override the conscious mind through breathing, listening and unpacking what’s going on in the body.
We can use the breath to change neural pathways from our heart to the head.
Tense muscles signify we don’t like something.
Listen to your heart to see where your mind needs connection as our bodies will serve anxiety when we don’t listen.
“Whatever is bothering you right now, take a breath, be grateful for what is going well and realize what you can and can’t control.”
Especially in the current moment, look within to help yourself and others.
Learn your defense mechanisms and question if they’re hurting or serving you.
