It’s Still San Francisco
Why, hello there San Francisco.

“If you’re alive, you can’t be bored in San Francisco. If you’re not alive, San Francisco will bring you to life……San Francisco is a world to explore. It is a place where the heart can go on a delightful adventure. It is a city in which the spirit can know refreshment every day.”
(William Saroyan)
I’ve always felt a magnetic pull towards the west coast, especially the high tech city of San Francisco.
“Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.”
-Albert Einstein

San Francisco: where unique diets are expected, no app goes amiss, expectations take a back seat to learning, and personalities match the sunny weather.
It truly seems like nothing is too unusual.
America’s most eclectic city, you can find hippies, techies, immigrants, yuppies and liberals all within a mile radius from each other.
The food here is just as diverse. Check out this squid salad I had for lunch yesterday.
Seafood for days.
And appetizers to satisfy the pickiest of pallets.
The colorful sights are just as enticing. One of my favorite spots is Haight Ashbury.
The birthplace of America’s counter-culture, the Haight was Ground Zero during The Summer of Love. It was sought out as a gathering spot for hippies to create a social experiment that would soon spread throughout the nation. A community based upon counterculture ideals, drugs and music.
You’ll find the bright places
where Boom Bands are playing.
With banner flip-flapping,
once more you’ll ride high!
Ready for anything under the sky.
Ready because you’re that kind of a guy!
Oh, the places you’ll go! There is fun to be done!
There are points to be scored. there are games to be won.

The wonderlust bug has taken over.
Tomorrow I fly to DC. I love the states, but I’m ready to explore the rest of this vast and crazy world.
Where in this wide world do you want to visit?
In case you missed it, and check out my guest blog post on the lovely Charlotte’s page. 🙂
