It’s San Francisco
“It’s San Francisco.”
Whenever you spot something wonderfully unique or oddly different, “it’s San Francisco” seems to be the common response. SF is a place for the wild and free where truly anything goes.
To say we fit in with this lovey city would be an understatement. We kicked off our day yesterday touring the startup AirBnB with Brittany and Ben. For once, we were early, which an unusual occurrence for the two of us. Naturally, we kept ourselves occupied.
Ben greeted us outside the pristine office to show us around the rooms, most of which were designed after famous AirBnB houses. My favorite was the Nerd Room. How cool. It’s San Francisco. 🙂
Next came a walking tour around the northern part of the city. We started at the Ferry Building, going up Embarcadero, passing several touristy piers, stopping to see the sea lions, going by Fisherman’s Wharf, then up through Ghiradelli Square for some chocolate, over to North Beach then Chinatown, and ending at our friend’s house in Russian Hill.
The combination of city, mountains and water is spectacular. It’s so San Francisco.
We had a breezy roof party before ubering off to the Giants baseball game. Since when did baseball games last 3 hours? Clearly I’m not a sports fan, but I’ll take it to see the gorgeous views with some funny friends.
The Giants beat the LA Dodgers. Go team. And now we’re off to road trip down to LA to give them some of our cheer.
Just a brunette and a blonde with an unbreakable bond.
Happy Thursday!
Are you a baseball fan?
