How to Enjoy a Workout
Happy hump day!
These days I’ve been having fun while working out.
I’ve also been getting a little creative in the process.
The best way to have fun while working out is to set challenges for yourself.
With a challenge like a handstand, you’re thinking less about how hard it is, and more on how much closer you are to achieving your goal of owning a new trick.
And who doesn’t want a picture of themselves doing a one-handed handstand on a rooftop while the sun is setting?
Here are some challenges I strive for:
- Lifting more weight
- Doing more pull-ups
- Increasing my mile time
- Jumping higher
- Tricks on tricks, everything from wild partner workouts to crazy flips (I like browsing through the #IGFIT hashtag on Instagram to catch some inspiring moves)
If you’re looking for something totally new, check out fitness trends, like the facial aerobics. Apparently this is an actual thing.
You guys know what challenge I’m working on, but here’s an update with some backbends thrown in the mix.
And remember everyone has to start from the beginning and perfect is overrated. 🙂
