Tap into Creativity
What does stepping outside of the box mean to you?
To me, it means viewing an idea in another set of unfamiliar opticals. It takes a lot of work and can be uncomfortable. It’s easier to stay in our thoughts and ideas, but in order to see the true beauty in life, I believe you have to get outside of you own thoughts.
Be up for a challenge and don’t hold back. Don’t be afraid to try something new- the door to enlightenment is endlessly in the new. View your thoughts as vessels in the sea that you observe from shore.
Whether that means trying a new skill or exploring your fears, go for it.
Lately, I’ve been experimenting with the creative world.
It takes the utmost confidence to be an artist. Be bold and be fearless if you’re going for it. Don’t let your ego hold you back. Leave rejection behind in the woods.
We had a photo shoot at work on Thursday and the photographer told me his tip for taking better photos- “take a lot of bad photos.”
The Buddhist religion is really on to something with the ego serving as our biggest deterrence in life. If we can be confident in ourselves, negative judgment can’t hold us back, and we can allow the light to submerge.
I find running to be a great vehicle for creative thinking. For anyone who struggles with running, work to change your thinking. I used to despise running, but now, I love it. I’ve used the power of my mind to convince myself that I love to run. I can’t wait to get out on the road and just go.
Go for your dreams. Think big and inspire others. See beauty in everyone. And if nothing else, have a relaxing Saturday. 🙂
