Pushing Past Pressure
Do you ever worry you’re wasting your time? Like you’re working too hard at work for no reason. Or you’re trying time after time to achieve something only to find no success at the end?
I think this is normal. It’s ok to question all of the things while grappling doubt. Converse.
Whenever I encounter stress from lack of achievement, I remember to be grateful for the desire behind perfection. Over achievement is often coupled with urgency and discomfort.
It’s important we keep pushing onward.
Why?
Because science says:
And so it is.
By nature, when you put work into something, a result will happen.
Ergo, go relax. If you worry, if you’ve got hella anxiety, do something for yourself. Go have fun. 🙂
“You might think that in everyday life, the things you see and hear influence what you feel, but it’s mostly the other way around: that what you feel alters your sight and hearing. Interception is more influential to perception, and how you act, than the outside world is.”
“No matter how old we are, our sense of well-being arises directly from our ability to imagine moving forward, into the future, with purpose, meaning, and some measure of choice over our fate.”
“The feeling that any task is a nuisance will soon disappear if it is done in mindfulness.”
