The Marvelous Beach

A weekend away with your family is a recipe for instant nourishment.

That type of nourishment too. 😉

I spent the weekend in Virginia Beach with my parents. Our trip is definitely making my Monday marvelous today.

Besides great meals and beach time, we managed to get some exercise in as well.

We relaxed on the beach…

and chilled at the pool.

On both days, we had brunch and dinner at some of our favorite restaurants.

And you know we squeezed in a dessert…

Come Sunday, it was time to head back home. Even though our trip was over, the sky was stunning.

I guess you can say I’m eternally optimistic. Optimism really is a choice. If you want to be happier, break down the steps to getting there. Squash negativity.
