Chocolate Mug Brownie
After a few attempts, I present you with a healthy chocolate brownie mug! (And your non-health-crazed friends will like it too!)
- 2 tbsp apple sauce
- 2 tbsp almond milk (any type of milk works)
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp sugar (I used "sugar in the raw")
- 1 tbsp truvia (or sugar)
- pinch of salt
- pinch of baking soda
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (or sub another tbsp oats)
- 1 tbsp flax (optional way to add some nutrients)
- 4 tbsp oats (measure oats first, then grind in the food processor)

Mix the 3 liquid ingredients in a large mug. Then stir each dry ingredient in one at a time.

Microwave the mixture for 1-2 minutes, depending on microwave power.

Add sprinkles 🙂

1 Tbsp chia seeds (or sub another Tbsp oats)
1 tsp of flax (optional way to add some nutrients)
4 Tbsp oats (measure oats first, then grind in the food processor)
Directions
Mix the 3 liquid ingredients in a large mug. Then stir each dry ingredient in one at a time.
Microwave the mixture for 1-2 minutes, depending on microwave power.
Add sprinkles 🙂

The best part about this dessert is the ingredients. I used a recipe from Food.com for the measurements but swapped healthier options, like applesauce instead of butter.
