Take time to surrender. Notice your breathe.
Scan your body. Notice where tension is held. Let you body experience a deeper opening in the energy channels.
Breathe in and let go.
Adventure is the pursuit of life.
Therapeutic postures allow the body to find balance and harmony through homeostasis.
It’s not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.
Get lost in nature and you will surely find yourself.

There is no wifi in the forest, but you’ll surely find a better connection.
After a long hike, I often crave a restorative yoga practice.
Sometimes a wifi connection is just the ticket to connecting to spiritual growth. (And I’m not just saying that because I work at Facebook.) 😉
The good people at The Yoga Collective gave me a year access to their online yoga studio. I was reluctant at first because I haven’t had success with online workouts, but I decided to give it a shot and I’m really glad I did.
What made the difference?
It’s customizable. You can search by level, duration, teacher, style, and focus. The online yoga videos feel like private, authentic and educational session. The instructor explains twisting as an organic way to infuse relaxation into the body, rinsing and detoxifying the organs, lubricating the spinal column, ultimately creating more space for rest and letting go.
A workout where you can practice whenever, however and wherever you please? Yes, please.
And now for the fun part: A Giveaway!
The Yoga Collective is offering 2 Zen Kat readers a one year membership!
Yeah, you read that zentence correctly.
To enter: leave a comment telling me your favorite yoga pose. If you’re new to yoga, tell me your favorite stretch.
The 2 winners will be selected next week on Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Good luck! 🙂
